A lot of my career has involved stepping into complex situations where the technology is only part of the problem. I help organisations challenge assumptions, understand risk and make better technology decisions, particularly around cloud and infrastructure, disaster recovery, resilience and transformation.

I'm most interested in what happens beyond the architecture diagram, whether a solution can actually be delivered, operated and recovered, whether it solves the real business problem, and whether the organisation is making the right decision in the first place.

I've also learned that experience isn't about knowing everything. It's about knowing which questions to ask, being comfortable challenging the obvious answer and being equally comfortable saying when you don't know.
