Currently, he manages a Generative AI red teaming at Google, where he leads work that 'stress test' flagship models against critical user and content risks like bias, misinformation, and security threats. A former international development practitioner and a policy advisor with the Canadian Government, Ben brings a unique dual perspective—combining the rigour of international regulation with the reality of deploying AI at scale. He is an ISO 42001 Lead Implementer and a pragmatist focused on building governance systems that enable, rather than block, innovation
