What began as a practical response to chronic illness became a decades-long exploration of how the first meal of the day reflects identity, freedom, memory, and place.

Through stories that move from Hollywood kitchens to Seattle cafés, roadside diners, borrowed apartments, and borrowed lives, Fiona explores breakfast not as trend or lifestyle branding, but as ritual — the moment where people begin again.
