About Christina Larocco
Writer, editor, and Author Accelerator–certified nonfiction book coach Christina Larocco has always had one foot in the academic world and one in the creative.
She received her PhD in history and since 2015 has served as editor-in-chief of the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania’s peer-reviewed scholarly journal.
She is also a longtime creative nonfiction editor at Cleaver Magazine.
Using her signature system, the Writer’s Finding Aid, Christina draws on this dual background to provide clients with a more complete suite of strategies than writers siloed in either camp are exposed to.
Specifically, she helps writers who integrate research into creative and commercial nonfiction dig themselves out from underneath their mountains of information, find the throughline of their book, and reclaim their authority as a writer so that they can write a book that, while informative, is so much more than a collection of facts—it is a work of art.
In her own writing life, Christina is the author of The Women’s Rights Movement since 1945 (Bloomsbury Publishing, 2022) and Crosshatch: Martha Schofield, the Forgotten Feminist (1839–1916) (Blackwater Press, forthcoming).
She is now working on her third book, tentatively titled “How to Be a Human Girl: A Memoir of Grief, Neurodivergence, and Finding a Home in the Universe.”
