Dave started in his native Sydney, spent 27 years with global advertising agency McCann as head of strategy, mostly across Asia.

Has lived in Thailand, Kong Kong, Japan for the last 30 years.

Since 2015 he has managed his own consultancy, BIBLIOSEXUAL (yes there is a funny story behind that) where he helps brands understand what matters to people they want to target, how to rethink life stages and demographics and then rethink attitudes.

An early champion of using AI for market research (for over a decade) he also has built a reputation for using unique examples to explain everyday business issues (think the history of men's underwear to explain category growth, toilets as social media).
