He has chaired the HSE Excellence for Offshore Operations Forum and the HR and Talent Management in Oil and Gas Conference among other significant business events, and has spoken at numerous business and educational conferences in the U.S. and around the world. He was recruited to develop the first skills-based technical training program for the aerospace engineers that develop space shuttle flights following the Challenger explosion. He has also served as Training Manager for InterGen (a Shell/Bechtel joint energy venture), led the development of online technical training for El Paso Corporation, and was the Principal for Technical Training at Kinder Morgan. He has appeared on CNN Headline News and was a special guest on a PBS special. He has been the featured guest on several television news/talk shows, has been interviewed on nationally syndicated radio programs, and was quoted in a special Congressional Quarterly report. He currently operates Storymakers, Inc., a specialized publishing operation.
