Hi I’m Jamie.
I come from a long line of alcoholics, and I started drinking alcohol at age 14. I had a difficult time as a teen and tried to take my own life at 16. I ran away and my mother said she didn’t want me when I came back. I drank heavily for more than thirty years before finally stopping 18 months ago. Now, I write about my 35 plus jobs I’ve had, my nomadic lifestyle, my work with prisoners and drug addicts in mental health, and life as a present father and loving husband and what it’s like to break generational cycles.
I have a lot to contribute and would love to be a part of your podcast.
