Where Wisdom Meets Joy

Female from Austin, United states and speaks English, Spanish

Available for Collaboration, Interviews in In-Person, Remote Formats

My audience are people seeking more joy, either because they feel the "too-muchness" of their lives (physical illness, grief, eco-angst, depression), or because they know joy is the truthiest thing about us, and want more openings to ahhhhh. Either way, they are seeking tools for the uplift. I back it up all my assertions about joy being our natural state with the science, so people disinclined toward joy have academically approved rungs to hold.

I've taught murderers and middle-schoolers, and here's the true fact I've uncovered: everyone benefits from learning to reconnect with their highest selves.

About Kelly Corbet

Though she holds a Harvard master degree, and once ran an international environmental consulting firm, Kelly believes the best way to upgrade any system is by reuniting with our own joy.

She has written three mindfulness books and has shared centering techniques in classes and retreats for decades, teaching inmates and attorneys, middle-schoolers and moms.

Kelly weaves practical, neuroscience-supported methods to override stress-based conditioning and activate the brain’s natural happiness pathways.

Hers is an invitation to return to our intrinsic wisdom—joy, connection, and deep inner balance.

Why Invite as a Guest?

I'm not a comic, but my laughing skills are top-notch! And having taught for so long, I can share quite profound and inspiring stories. After learning tools in my classes, people have been de-prescribed blood pressure meds; overcome fear of flying; and even embraced "the F word," forgiveness, to take them to heights they didn't know existed. I use hard-core science to help people remember the inner joy (they haven't quite forgotten it...it's there, waiting to be excavated), and it's amazing how much more "accessible" joy feels to people when I tell them about the brain improvements from using these "not-forgetfulness" tools.
