I have degrees from two Ivy League universities and have been a teacher for nearly 40 years. I am also a coach, work in town government, and have served as a senior administrator at a major university's summer school for three decades. I have considerable experience in college counseling, education, politics, and sports, as well as my particular academic focus on Russia. I started a school for Ukrainian refugees in Bratislava, Slovakia in 2022 when I served on the board of Special Olympics Connecticut.
