I teach kids (and grownups) how to understand the universe by building it—because that’s how we fix what school, screens, and systems forgot

I speak to parents, educators, makers, designers, and thinkers—people who believe kids should build, not just memorize; who see structure in nature and wonder what it means.
Whether it's teachers looking for hands-on solutions, entrepreneurs rethinking learning, or futurists exploring the edge of science and art—my audience spans disciplines but shares a love for big questions, tactile wisdom, and first principles.

About Michael Acerra
Mike Acerra is the inventor of Lux Blox, a revolutionary hands-on learning system inspired by nature’s architecture.
With roots in classical art and aerospace engineering, Mike blends ancient lessons from the Renaissance with the latest insights in fractals, self-similarity, and structural physics.
He’s a builder, thinker, and rebel educator developing a theory of everything kids can hold in their hands—because understanding the universe starts by playing with it.

Why Invite Michael Acerra as a Guest?
I’m not your average STEM guy, and I’m definitely not your average educator. I started as an artist, learned to draw like the old masters, then somehow ended up inventing a building system that teaches kids the architecture of the universe. I don’t do buzzwords. I do structure. I do tension. I do reality. What makes me a great guest? I show up with big ideas—about how kids learn, how nature thinks, and why most of what we call education is upside down. I’ve spent my life trying to remember what the ancients knew and what we’ve forgotten—how to build things that matter, how to learn by doing, how to see meaning in the shape of a leaf or a bridge or a child’s mind. I’ll talk about fractals, sacred geometry, CNC robotics, or drawing the back of a human skull—but I’ll do it like we’re having a drink, not giving a TED Talk. If your audience wants to feel something real, crack a smile, and leave seeing the world in a new way—they’ll remember this episode.
