I’ve found in most cases, people are too close to their product and they have a hard time explaining exactly what they do in terms that consumers will engage.

I have two kids, my oldest a junior at Notre Dame and my youngest graduating high school this year, attending my Alma Mater, LSU next year. My wife of 22 years and I have been rescuing dogs for about 8 years, rehoming about 80-100 dogs.

One of the most exciting highlights of my career was when I was asked to go on CNBC’s The Profit with Marcus Lemonis. We were featured in the season 7 opener “Dante’s” as a marketing consultant to help a struggling Italian restaurant whose mother passed away in the 911 attacks on the Twin Towers. Although I can only be seen for 8 seconds in the episode, the experience was something I’ll never forget.
