I am an Independent Journalist and PhD Student whose practice defies simple categorization. Through writing, visual art, and narrative strategy, she explores the intersections of identity, place, and liberation. Born in rural Kentucky, my work is deeply rooted in the landscapes of the rural South. My writing centers on healthcare access, harm reduction, and art in trans and queer communities. I have been featured in Queer Kentucky, Prism Reports, and Black Youth Project. I specifically prioritize conversations and lived experiences of incarcerated trans individuals, as well as those who are at risk of mass incarceration. My creative work is not just about writing for the sake of creating; it is rooted in the conjuration of dialogue, healing, and structural change.
