Traveling the world has changed my perspective on life and my career. I used the think social studies was about learning the names of other countries and languages. Now, I realize how important it is for kids to experience other places, cultures, and other people.

I created the "Passport Adventures" curriculum to help teachers bring the world to their classrooms (without ever leaving).

I have been two 45+ countries and my lessons based on the places I visit stimulate my students' imagination. We pretend to go to these places. I'm inspired every time my class goes on a "Passport Adventure" because it's more than just a lesson. It's an experience.

Every teacher can create a travel experience for their entire class with the right mindset and resources. I love to offer the resources and teach the mindset.

When I'm not teaching, I'm either speaking, or traveling with my husband (the Passport Adventures cameraman 📹). I grew up in small town MI but our home base is near Ft. Lauderdale, FL in the United States.
