He is a modern shaman in the Alaska Úlfhé∂nar tradition, a broadcaster, author, and guide whose work sits at the intersection of warrior culture, trauma, spiritual injury, and ethical ancestral practice. Drawing on lived experience in high-demand environments, years of spiritual study, and thousands of hours in conversation with veterans, first responders, survivors, and faith-shifters, he translates old stories—Norse and Celtic myth, ancestor lore, land-based wisdom—into clear, practical tools for modern lives.

Mark is relentlessly trauma-aware and unapologetically anti-supremacist. His spaces are explicitly free of folkish garbage, guru posturing, and “one true path” salesmanship. Whether through Samrœður Conversations, Forfædres Belysning, or one-on-one guidance, he speaks to people who are burned out, morally injured, spiritually exiled, or standing on the edge—and helps them find language, frameworks, and rituals that honor their experience without pretending it away.
