I’m Peter Kennedy, a father of five, entrepreneur, author of The Remembering, and a man who once believed success was the cure for emptiness.
For years, I built companies, chased accolades, and eventually led my startup, Tagger Media, to a $140M exit through its acquisition by Sprout Social (NASDAQ: SPT).
From the outside, I had it all.
But inside, I was running—running from pain, from vulnerability, from the little boy I had buried beneath a carefully curated identity.
My life was a high-functioning performance driven by fear—fear of not being enough, of not being lovable unless I proved it a thousand ways over.
It wasn’t until a temazcal ceremony in the jungles of Brazil cracked me open that I began to see: I wasn’t in control, and I never had been.
That moment sparked a radical unraveling.
I surrendered to the truth beneath the armor, faced the parts of myself I’d exiled, and began the long road back to wholeness—not through hustle, but through healing.
What followed were a series of initiations: plant medicine ceremonies (iboga, ayahuasca, psilocybin), deep somatic therapy, a 10-day darkness retreat, and an unflinching confrontation with everything I thought made me successful—but was actually keeping me small.
Today, I am the co-founder of EvolveWell Inc., an AI-powered platform designed to help coaches support their clients between.
