He has over two decades of experience helping companies create brand authority, revitalize products, and develop strategies.

As President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, he managed 8 million insured individuals and $40B in healthcare spend and founded the Voice of Texas Healthcare initiative.

He is currently the founder of GoLaunchSmall, a project to bring big company skills to small businesses.

He also operates three small hospitality businesses in the Texas Hill Country - Hill Country Chocolate, Texas Chocolate, and DKM Cellars.

In addition, he has a long-standing independent consulting firm that works with large national corporations on corporate storytelling and improving brand authority.
