I'm a former practicing & exhibiting artist and professional creative freelancer in NYC who started suffering daily panic attacks after a major financial deal fell through and a devastating breakup. I was also in the midst of making the transition from "employee" to becoming my own "boss". I didn't know what was happening to my body. I became increasingly agoraphobic and depressed. I felt like I had tried everything -- from meditation, yoga, hypnosis, binaural beats, journaling, affirmations and commands, mantras, NLP, mindset, and too many other things to name, but nothing seemed to change my condition. In fact, to some extent, I think it made it worse. I became more neurotic about my thoughts, trying to change them, while becoming critical of any "negative" feelings I had, which I made "wrong". I was reading everything from psychology, spirituality, philosophy, and metaphysics to understand my panic attacks. One day I was on YouTube and a person started talking about money programming and trauma. I couldn't stop feeling like I had finally discovered the "solution". It was the first time I learned about trauma and its symptoms and effects, many of which I was experiencing at the time. It was a life changing moment, which not only led to me finally resolving my panic attacks, but it also significantly changed my dynamic with money and my art practice. I experienced the profound correlation between money programming, one's fundamental truth, and the work they allow themselves to actualize and represent, and how.
