About Roger Persaud
As a retired aviator and USAF veteran, I've had the privilege of flying high and wide, but my greatest adventure has been as a father of six—three biological and three adopted.
Through my experiences in both aviation and parenting, I've gained a unique perspective on education and the narratives that shape our world.
I became increasingly aware that the history we learn often perpetuates division rather than unity.
This realization motivated me to write 'America Should be Grateful to Haiti,' a collection of untold stories that challenge conventional narratives.
In my talks, I strive to diminish unconscious biases and replace ignorance with curiosity, promoting understanding and reducing the impact of racism in our society.
