Sharon is a Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT) and Scientist (MS Biology) who has been in the veterinary field for 25 years and has a degree focused on infectious disease and molecular microbiology. She is on a crusade to fix the veterinary field, having founded RVT Seminars to provide training, coaching, and consulting services to support veterinary teams.

She is also a keynote concert presenter, working to improve patient care and wellbeing of veterinary care team members by improving veterinary culture and communication in the workplace, and has written a book for pet owners to help them better advocate for their pets by being more knowledgable about their pets needs, as well as how things work within the veterinary field. Sharon is also a member of an original band called Pengwich - it's not a penguin sandwich, it's a penguin in a sandwich costume!
