About Stacy Echeverria
Stacy has always had a passion for helping people heal their emotional wounds.
She was called to counseling before she ever knew that it was a calling in her life, and before she ever had an awareness of the Lord.
Her life took her on a long and winding journey over 40+ years that finally led her back to her true passion: to help hurting people find hope, healing, and freedom in Jesus.
For 12 years Stacy facilitated The Genesis Process groups for women at her church as well as taking individuals through the process.
She is a licensed pastor; certified in T-JTA Temperament Assessment; a Genesis Process Relapse Specialist; as well as holding an MA in Clinical Christian Counseling from Colorado Theological Seminary, and is a certified Pastoral Sex Addiction Professional through IITAP (International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals).
Stacy is in private practice in Southern California and also provides clinical services at Pure Desire Ministries.
In her down time, Stacy enjoys spending time in nature, whether it’s hiking with a friend or gardening.
She enjoys activities that allow her to be creative.
She spent 14 years in the entertainment industry (that’s a story for another time!).
Studying Torah helps her stay grounded and focused on Him.
She also likes to eat healthy and loves to cook and bake, especially healthy treats that allow her to have her cake and eat it too!
Most importantly, she recharges by spending time with her husband, and close friends.
