My path to where I am today started in West Texas, where I juggled my education at Texas Tech with a passion for photography and journalism. I not only earned my BA and MA in broadcasting but also taught aspiring journalists as a graduate student.

My path to where I am today started in West Texas, where I juggled my education at Texas Tech with a passion for photography and journalism. I not only earned my BA and MA in broadcasting but also taught aspiring journalists as a graduate student. My career flourished at the University of Texas at Austin, where I directed an instructional television network and taught graduate courses. Moving to Ohio, I took on the role of Director of Instructional Television at Bowling Green State University before heading to Washington, DC, to establish my communications consulting firm. I worked with a diverse array of clients, from government agencies to corporations, and even served as FEMA's first Director of News and Information during its early days. After two decades in the capital, I chose to transition back to Ohio as a Registered Investment Advisor, prioritizing a stable upbringing for my daughters. Now, I'm excited to share my humor and insights through my series '20 Years of Internet Humor… and Some Other Interesting Things' and a daily email filled with uplifting thoughts.
