I’m Zach Marshall, a Senior at Ohio University double majoring in Finance and Data Analytics, with a passion for markets, quantitative research, and investment strategy. I serve as the President & Portfolio Manager of the Ohio University Student Equity Management Group (OUSEMG), where I help lead the management of an $11.5 million long-only equity portfolio. In this role, I oversee security selection, portfolio construction, risk management, and research initiatives that blend fundamental, quantitative, and macroeconomic insights.

I’ve completed internships in wealth management and institutional credit, and I will be joining BP’s Trading & Shipping Graduate Development Program in Chicago upon graduation — an opportunity that will allow me to build deeper expertise in energy markets, derivatives, risk, and quantitative trading frameworks.

I’m energized by discussions around investment analysis, market structure, and strategy development. Outside of finance, I enjoy hockey, golfing, and exploring new investment ideas.
