My journey in the hair industry began in 1996 as a Barber, but it was in 2004 when I opened Alta's Hair Studio that I truly found my calling.

The pivotal moment in my career came in 2008 when I encountered a client grappling with severe hair loss, her struggle ignited a deep passion within me to learn how to help her.

This led me to pursue extensive education in wig and prosthetic installation, but I soon realized I needed a more comprehensive understanding. That’s when I discovered the National Trichology Institute, where I first delved into the science of hair and scalp health.

After completing the program and an internship with Dr. Sumayah Taliaferro at Atlanta Dermatology & Aesthetic, I continued my education by studying Medical Aesthetics to enhance my expertise.

However, I felt compelled to create a more holistic solution for my clients. This drive led me to close my successful salon and establish Alta's Hair Wellness Center, where I collaborate with medical professionals to offer a complete approach to hair recovery.

My mission is to guide clients through their personal journeys of hair restoration and scalp health, helping them regain not just their hair, but their confidence.
