About Carla McBeath

Carla McBeath has been writing her entire life, but always with a purpose, to display insights or solutions to looming problems.

Sometimes she sees the problems before they become recognized, such as the affordable housing crisis.

Her first book offered creative, colorful and innovative ways to transform a studio apartment, rebelling against soulless sterile, white interiors, and showing "How to Find and Love Your Small Space: Outfit Your Small Gourmet Kitchen, Furnish Your Amazing Space with Wellness Colors and Store All Your Stuff" (Small Space Life Publishing, 2021) .

Carla’s second book breaks through a framework of manipulative influences all around us, molding and shaping our choices outside our conscious awareness.

In this book, Carla presents insights gained over her lifetime and opens pathways to distinguish reality from propaganda. "Your Will and Your Win: Rescuing Your Human Will from Popular Culture and Finding Your Win"(Vertigo Interactive LLC, 2024) is a wakeup call for everyone who finds their life ruled by information all around them and is feeling trapped.

Carla lives in New York with her husband and, other than writing, loves baroque music, learning world languages and cooking.

Why Invite Carla McBeath as a Guest?

My second book is funny. I wrote it to bring humor to a real issue, and I have been told I have the skill of getting a point across, with humor. My life, however, has been anything but funny. I experienced various tragedies and obstacles in my life, all of which have contributed to this book. This book makes you think, and laugh at the same time. But the premise behind it is self-preservation. If you know cultural manipulation is happening, if you see it, you cannot unsee it and it gives you the power of choice. I have inspired audiences to think, to laugh, to question something they always took for granted. Always, with compassion and humor. After all, I experienced these insights first, so I know what it feels like to experience them now.
