About Isabel Walbourne
I had a wonderful life going: Great husband, good job, we were both working, and we had two small boys.
Life was good.
Then that line in the wedding vows popped up.
The one about "in sickness and in health."
My husband almost got Spinal Meningitis at a time when many people died of it.
He got through that.
My first initiation of caregiving.
Then the wedding vow came up again.
He was diagnosed with cancer and we spent a year and a half fighting it.
Now, cancer free, many of our family and friends began to also have this same fight.
I am here to help those with a bit of forewarning and forearming you, the caregiver or caregiver-to-be.

Why Invite Isabel Walbourne as a Guest?
There are over 1500 books on just Amazon that deals with caregiving, mostly about the invalid and the mechanics of bed changing with someone in the bed, or medically explaining what is going to happen, or journals and notebooks to use while caregiving. But there's not a whole lot of caregiving of people that are still up and about. The ones that have so much energy because the meds are making them stir-crazy while driving the caregiver stir-crazy. And that's not all that goes on with the caregiver. There are seven aspects that are involved and will need to be addressed while caregiving. Keeping your sanity is my goal to help you by learning about these aspects: the physical, the mental, the psychological/spiritual, the social, the documents needed, the self of the caregiver, and the survival.
