Guiding new believers and curious hearts toward authentic faith in Christ

Male from Surprise, United states and speaks English

As a guest, my heart is to speak to those who are just beginning (or beginning again) their walk with Jesus.

My primary audience includes new believers, those returning to their faith, and the spiritually curious, basically those people who are asking life’s big questions, wrestling with doubt, or exploring what it truly means to follow Christ. Many are coming out of cultural Christianity or religious burnout, and they’re not looking for shallow answers, they want something honest and something real. They crave an authentic encounter with the love, truth, and power of God.

These are people who might feel like they’re sitting in the back pew of life, unsure if they belong in the church at all. Maybe they’ve been hurt by religion. Maybe they’ve never opened a Bible before. Maybe they’re just now starting to listen for God’s voice in the noise of the world.

My goal is to come alongside them like a spiritual trail guide, pointing to scripture, offering grace and pouring into them encouragement. I want to remind them that faith isn’t about perfection, It’s about pursuit and persistence. It's about leaning into God's understanding, God's heart, and God's redemption.

I try to speak in a way that’s honest, relatable, biblically grounded, and free from religious jargon (or at least try to explain it) because understanding the Gospel shouldn't need a theological, just a willing and open heart.

If your listeners are wondering “Can God really love someone like me?” or “Where do I even begin?” ... then I’m here to reassure them them: Yes, He can. And right now is the perfect time to begin.

About Jason McConnell

I am the host of My Ministry Mission, a podcast dedicated to helping new believers, returning Christians, and the spiritually curious navigate the early stages of faith.

I was raised without a strong spiritual foundation, and my journey to Christ began during the isolation of the 2020 pandemic.

After a series of divine nudges, a “long-shot” Facebook message led me to church for the first time, where I encountered the love of Jesus and a powerful call to serve.

Since my baptism in 2021, I have been passionately pursuing God’s purpose ... volunteering, building a Christ-centered community, and sharing my story to encourage others to say yes to faith.

My mission?

To help others find their way home to Christ, just as I did.

Why Invite Jason McConnell as a Guest?

What sets me apart is that I wasn’t raised in church. I come with a fresh and relatable perspective that resonates deeply with new believers, returning Christians, and seekers alike. I understand the doubts, the hesitations, and the "why does that matter?" questions that so many are afraid to ask. As a guest, I bring those honest questions to the table, not to challenge the faith ... but to build it. I love breaking down Scripture in simple, conversational ways that anyone can grasp, because I believe the Gospel isn’t meant to be complicated, it’s meant to be heard. Most of all, I bring an unshakable love for Jesus Christ and a passion to help others meet Him just as I did: through grace, truth, and a transformed heart.
