The Seed, where I was sent in 1975, wasn't the turning point I needed; it was a setback. Through my turbulent teenage years, I ended up at Boys' Village in Ohio, where I began to find my footing.

After high school, I enlisted in the Marine Corps, and my service during the Gulf War became a defining chapter in my life. I returned with honors and dedicated myself to helping others through a behavior program, despite not holding a formal degree.

Now, as a retiree, I’m passionate about sharing my story and showing how resilience can lead to purpose.
