Relocated to Cleveland out of college, not knowing anyone for a job, not knowing anyone.
A year later, when the economy shifted and I found myself in a new career of real estate sales, I had to identify why someone should work with me vs. any of the other 9500 realtors in the area.
One of my things I did that separated myself was my writing personal notes to those I met and worked with.
Because it became part of my system, people felt appreciated and not just a transaction.
My real estate practice quickly grew through repeat and referral business.
My marketing costs were lower (didn't have to buy leads) and the business was more fun.
