About Bob Starkey
I’m Bob Starkey, a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in the energy and utility sector, currently serving as a Senior Pipeline Engineer at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission.
As President of my local Town Council, I’m passionate about community service and grassroots campaigning, and I also host the podcast Dad Bod Walking, where I explore education, politics, pop culture and personal stories.
You can find my voice co-hosting several shows on WJOB in Northwest Indiana.
I am an adoption advocate who loves to talk about parenting and men's health.
I'll often default to dark humor to get me through those tough spots in life.
My great escape is pop culture, all things sci-fi and tattoo therapy.

Why Invite Bob Starkey as a Guest?
My greatest strength is the depth & variety of my life experiences. I am curious about most things and never hesitate to ask how and why. As an elder millennial, I remember drinking from a hose and the chime of a dial-up modem. Last of the Analog and First of the Digital. I co-host several radio shows on a local station in Northwest Indiana, WJOB; so I'm not a stranger to a microphone. I have a flexible schedule and a desire to connect with people who have different orbits of people they are attempting to reach. I believe we can help each other grow our audience while telling honest stories about life.
