Then founded a nonprofit that delivered $500k in innovative food security and nutrition programs before experiencing what he calls "coordinated institutional suppression"—learning firsthand why some organizations profit from managing problems instead of solving them.

That strange path taught him something nobody else sees: communities don't have resource crises, they have coordination crises. The same skills that make nightclub coalitions work also make waste-to-value systems work, municipal partnerships work, and community-owned infrastructure work.

Now Shannon is co-founder of Regenerative Impact Alliance, proving this approach through real projects: Kenya coordination hub serving 25,000 people, refugee camp content creator networks, and Colorado waste processing demonstrations. He's a disabled veteran operating in advisory capacity from Denver—strategic thinking, not operational management.
