He graduated from Fort Valley State University, earning a BS in Computer Science/Mathematics and an Executive MS in Management of Technology from the GA Institute of Technology. In addition to his formal education, he’s received various certifications including, HIMSS Fellow, Executive Fellow American College of Health Data Management, CPHIMS Certification, customer relationship management, technical management, quality control, project management, and various related fields of study.

Christopher is a 2024 HIMSS Changemaker Award Recipient, 2024 - HHCP Award Recipient, 2006 - Minority Scholarship Award from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME). 2024 GA Titan Award Nominee.
