I was diagnosed with Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD) in October 2025. I have about sixteen alters, most of whom can "copilot" life with me, but I have no amnesia between alters and do not fully switch with them.

I was diagnosed with Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD) in October 2025. I have about sixteen alters, most of whom can "copilot" life with me, but I have no amnesia between alters and do not fully switch with them.

I have gone through the journey and come out the other side with the help of Accelerated Resolution Therapy and other learned coping mechanisms.

According to a 2019 study, dissociative disorders are statistically more common than bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and anorexia. Despite this, they remain one of the least understood groups of disorders.

A 2024 census of 500 people living as systems revealed that 53% had to educate their therapist on plurality. I would like to help provide any education or information that I can to help people reach a diagnosis quicker and more reliably.

I work as an editor for a children's publishing company and have a BFA in Creative Writing from Hamline University. I have done research on dissociative disorders on and off for about five years, both for my job and on my own time.
