As a teenager, my daydreaming had gotten me in trouble more than once. I always had at least five different stories bouncing around my head. Writing gave me a way to express what I couldn't get out any other way when life was hard. Somewhere along the way, storytelling became a part of who I was.

As a teenager, my daydreaming had gotten me in trouble more than once. I always had at least five different stories bouncing around my head. Writing gave me a way to express what I couldn't get out any other way when life was hard. Somewhere along the way, storytelling became a part of who I was.

But I grew up, as we all tend to do.

Life took over, and for a few decades, the stories grew quieter. Finding my way back to the wonder of reading and writing wasn’t exactly a straight path, but by 2024, the stories had returned with a vengeance. Not only invading my dreams but following me through my waking hours and refusing to leave me alone.

Eventually, I decided they deserved a bigger audience than the one inside my head.

That decision sent me down the winding road toward self-publishing. A journey filled with frustrations, discoveries, unexpected connections, and more than a few lessons I never knew I needed to learn. It has changed me in ways I didn't expect, and even knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t choose differently.

These days, I’m that daydreaming teenager all over again—only now, I'm bringing those dreams into the real world.
