As a psychologist and someone who personally experienced this tragedy, I bring a unique perspective to the conversation about sudden, violent grief and the complications which inevitably follow. My work, includes three published books and a six-season podcast heard in 22 countries. I’m passionate about helping not just the bereaved, but also their friends first responders, funeral personnel and others who wish to understand and support homicide survivors. Together, we can unpack the complexities of traumatic grief and foster connections that heal. It’s time to break down the barriers of silence, of misunderstanding and build a supportive community around those affected by homicide.
