I am Jordan Doyle, a debut memoirist, motivational speaker, and nursing student from rural Appalachia in the United States. I am the daughter of addicts. I survived my own story. In June 2025 I published my memoir, The Girl Who Named the Fire: A Memoir of Fire, Survival, and Becoming, because I write the truth even when it hurts. My second book is already coming. A Hundred Dollar Bill and a Blue Pill: From Dope Sick to Hope Filled. I grew up in a place that taught you early to be tough, stay quiet, and carry what hurts alone. I stopped doing that. I heal through storytelling and I am asking others to join me
