Catherine was an absolutely wonderful guest. She brought such warmth, honesty, and generosity to our conversation, sharing both the deeply personal experience of losing her husband and the practical wisdom she has gained through more than 25 years in the tax and financial world.
What struck me most was her ability to talk about grief in a way that was both vulnerable and hopeful. We explored the emotional and financial realities of loss, the brain fog that can make even simple decisions overwhelming, the shift in identity that comes with becoming a widow, and what it means to slowly begin imagining a life you never planned for.
Catherine is thoughtful, compassionate, easy to talk with, and genuinely committed to helping other women feel less alone and more confident as they move forward. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her and would gladly recommend her as a guest to other podcast hosts.
Denise was a warm, open, and very engaging guest. She shared her story with honesty and generosity, including how childhood conditioning led to people-pleasing, unhealthy relationships, and a lack of boundaries, and how she eventually rebuilt her confidence, self-worth, and life.
What stood out most was Denise’s willingness to talk not only about what happened to her, but about the work she did to change her own patterns. Her story of finding healthy love at 60 and launching her coaching business at 72 made her message that it is never too late to start over especially meaningful.
She was easy to talk with, well prepared, and brought practical insight around boundaries, self-care, gratitude, and rebuilding after adversity. Denise was a great fit for Growing Up Late, and I would happily recommend her to other podcast hosts.
Rosalind was a wonderful guest. She brought tremendous expertise, warmth, and compassion to our conversation, along with practical insights that parents can actually use. Her commitment to helping families navigate divorce while protecting children’s emotional well-being came through clearly throughout our interview. She was thoughtful, engaging, generous with her knowledge, and a pleasure to speak with. I would happily recommend Rosalind to other podcast hosts.
Rick was calm, relaxed, honest and very transparent about his journey of how he overcame struggles. We only talked for an hour but he could fill 9 hours easily with interesting and insightful content. Rick also was not afraid to go deep. I will definitely invite him back. Highly recommend Rick Lobo as a guest on your show.

How points work
10 per recorded episode · 5 per review written · 3 per review received · +1 for each 4★ received, +2 for each 5★.
Only connections marked as recorded count, and a review only counts once its episode has been recorded. Episodes are dated when they were recorded and reviews when they were written, so the two can land in different periods. Profiles that have paused matching are not shown.
